About Me

My name is Isabella. Curiosity and an interest in the diversity of people and cultures have always been a part of me. After studying Political Science and International Law, I worked in international cooperation and the field of sustainability. Through years of living abroad, I became increasingly aware of the complexity and challenges of a globalized world.

Like many people, I experienced how difficult it can be to balance work, health, family, and personal expectations. This experience led me to engage deeply with meditation and mindfulness on both a personal and societal level.

Since December 2023, I have been working as an independent MBSR and mindfulness teacher. I live with my family in Berlin and Brandenburg.

My Work

In my courses, I would like to invite you to try out how meditation can impact your life when it is not aligned with an always mindful ideal but focuses on conscious interruptions. The goal is not to be perfectly mindful or constantly calm. The demands are too diverse, and the distractions are too great.

My motivation is to create spaces where people can practice conscious pauses, stopping, and letting be together. Moments that trigger regeneration, insight, and peace in the chaos of life.

The intention could not be simpler: for the remembrance and application of this attitude in meditation, but also in daily life, we need time, practice, and inspiration. My courses are practical, clear, and without unnecessary effort. We meditate in small groups, reflect together, and create an environment that is open, safe, and supportive. Humor and lightness play just as important a role as clarity and presence.

I look forward to accompanying you on this journey.

* Note: Mindfulness is not a cure-all

Mindfulness and meditation can be valuable tools to lead a more conscious and calm life. However, they do not replace medical or psychotherapeutic support.

In a personal initial conversation, we will clarify together which course is right for your current life situation. Life not only brings everyday challenges – sometimes we fall into real crises that overwhelm us or even make us ill.

In such phases, professional support from doctors or therapists is essential. Especially for beginners, retreating into silence can sometimes even be counterproductive. Meditation and mindfulness do not heal mental illnesses!

Mindfulness as a Complement to Therapy
Mindfulness training can be helpful and meaningful alongside therapy. Central themes like (self-) acceptance, self-awareness, and self-care are also part of many therapeutic approaches.

Long-term Effect and Prevention
When practiced long-term and consistently, mindfulness can not only strengthen self-responsibility, kindness, and self-acceptance preventively but also support dealing with chronic stressors.
